Guillermo del Toro tweeted out yesterday that filming begins in Toronto this week for the movie adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. André Øvredal (Trollhunter) is set to helm the director’s chair, with a screenplay crafted by a team of writers that includes del Toro himself, along with Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (Saw franchise), Kevin Hageman (The Lego Movie), and John August (Big Fish).
